A fire alarm and detection system is a suite of devices that detects early signs of a fire, such as smoke or an increase in temperature, and issues an early warning to residents in the affected area. The existence of these systems is critical, as it provides a valuable opportunity to take preventive action before a situation develops into a more significant hazard. Providing early warning enables more organized evacuation and more effective fire control. This study aimed to improve technicians' and facility managers' understanding and technical skills in effectively installing, operating, and maintaining fire detection equipment. Simultaneously, simulations were conducted to ensure that participants could apply the knowledge they had gained in real situations. In addition, field assistance was conducted to monitor and provide direct guidance during the installation process of fire detection equipment. The method used in this research is technical guidance, which consists of training, simulation, and field assistance. Experts provided training with experience in installing and maintaining fire detection systems. The results showed that the technical assistance program significantly improved participants' ability to install and manage fire detection systems. Indicators of success included increased compliance with fire safety standards and improved speed and accuracy in installing detection equipment. In conclusion, structured and continuous technical guidance can improve building fire preparedness and protect assets and human lives from fire risks.
